Sarah joined CBS19 News as a reporter in July of 2023. Originally from Richmond, she is very familiar with Charlottesville and no stranger to Central Virginia.

Sarah attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington where she studied Strategic Communications with a concentration in politics. A member of the W&L field hockey team, she was named as an ODAC All-Academic for four years and made lifelong connections that led her to work in broadcast. Sarah anchored the local newscast in Lexington, The Rockbridge Report, where she fell in love with reporting and decided to pursue it full-time.

She has a younger brother who attends UVA, and loves to spend her free time exploring Charlottesville, working out, or watching sports at a lively spot in town.
