Ruckersville woman arrested on fentanyl charges
GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A Ruckersville resident has been arrested on drug charges.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says it has been conducting an investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics with the 3A Narcotics and Gang Task Force.
This investigation resulted in a search warrant that was used on Wednesday at a home in Ruckersville.
Investigators seized several items including suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Additionally, 49-year-old Georgia Joyce Flowers was arrested on charges of distribution of Schedule 1 or II drugs (fentanyl) and knowing and intentionally distributing a weapon of terrorism (fentanyl).
She is being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing and other charges are pending.
