Chance to comment on proposed changes to UVA tuition and fees

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- People will have a chance to submit comments about the tuition at the University of Virginia.
The Finance Committee of the UVA Board of Visitors will be holding a virtual meeting on Nov. 17.
The meeting will include an educational workshop on proposed undergraduate tuition and fee increases followed by a public comment period.
People who wish to address the committee need to register by sending an email to [email protected] by 5 p.m. Nov. 16.
According to a release, registrations must include a name, email address, telephone number, and affiliation with the university and/or the community.
Each speaker will get up to three minutes and they are asked to limit comments to changes in undergraduate tuition and fees or the intended uses of such revenues.
People who would like to have their comments entered into the public record can submit them in writing to the Secretary of the Board of Visitors at [email protected].
The meeting will begin at 11 a.m.
