RICHMOND, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Flags across Virginia will fly at half-staff on Tuesday.
Governor Glenn Youngkin says this is in respect and memory of the victims of the Nov. 13, 2022, shooting at the University of Virginia and their families.
Youngkin issued an order on Monday calling for all flags of the United States and Virginia to be lowered on all state and local buildings and grounds.
All day Monday, various events are being held on Grounds to honor Devin Chandler, D’Sean Perry, and Lavel Davis Jr., who were killed in the shooting.
The flags will be lowered at sunrise Tuesday and remain at half-staff until sunset.
