CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- After 14 years of service, Fry's Spring Station is closing its doors for good.

Co-owner PK Kamath says the reason behind the closure is due to operation costs.

"The restaurant business has changed dramatically and the model we created no longer makes it viable to continue," Kamath told food website Charlottesville 29.

The business is reaching out to surrounding businesses in hopes of securing employment for the staff.

Having opened on Mother's Day in 2010, Fry's Spring Station has specialized in serving a wide variety of starters, salads, sandwiches and pizzas in conjunction with a selection of beer, wine and cocktails. It also has a brunch menu.

Fry's Spring Station's last day of service will be Sunday, Nov. 26.
