CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- There wasn't much of a home field advantage for the Cavaliers during Saturday's NCAA Cross Country Championships, which the team hosted for the first time since 1986.
Jenny Schilling headlined the day for the Cavaliers, earning All-American honors as she finished 39th in the Women's 6K. She became the first women's cross country All-American since 2013 when Barbara Strehler did so. The women's team finished 15th overall in the meet.
On the men's side, sophomore Will Anthony led the way, finishing in 61st place to help the team finish 22nd overall.
Oklahoma State went on to win the men's team title, while NC State won the women's title.
