CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- More information is coming out about the woman who allegedly trespassed on Charlottesville High School grounds in connection to one of the many fights that caused CHS to shut down before Thanksgiving.

Eighteen-year-old Kvira Bynum appeared at the Charlottesville General District Court on Monday morning.

She is charged with trespassing after police were called to the high school for a fight that got out of hand on Nov. 16.

According to the arrest warrant, Bynum trespassed on school property by coming in through a door near the gym.

The warrant said she was there to take part in a fight between her sister and other students.

Investigators said Bynum admitted that she trespassed onto school property during an interview in early December.

Trespassing carries a jail sentence of up to a year and a fine.

Bynum has a public defender and will be back in court on Jan. 26.
