Pure Barre Charlottesville to hold grand reopening
ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Pure Barre Charlottesville is holding its grand reopening this weekend. To celebrate, the boutique exercise studio will be offering free classes and giveaways.
Pure Barre offers high-intensity, low-impact fitness classes, with as many as seven or eight class times each day, during morning, midday and evening. It incorporates small movements for a full-body workout that improves strength and flexibility.
The studio is moving from its location on Old Ivy Road, where it has been located for the past 11 years, to a brand-new studio at the Shops at Stonefield, next to Clean Juice.
The general manager of Pure Barre, Katie Hart, is thrilled the studio will have more visibility in its new location along Route 29, and that more people may be interested in a workout that she says is unlike any other.
"I have been obsessed with Pure Barre for years and years, I am so super-excited to give it a new home," Hart said. "It's time for an update and this is the perfect space, I feel like, for the studio that we just love so dearly, and once you come, you'll know. It becomes addictive very quickly."
Free classes will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a grand opening on Saturday held in conjunction with Clean Juice.
The grand opening will include raffles from local businesses, including local restaurants and wellness brands.
In celebration of the grand opening, Pure Barre is offering a discounted membership special this weekend.
