CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Phone services for several city departments will be unavailable this Saturday.

Charlottesville says system maintenance will be taking place on all phone services between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Jan. 27.

There are other numbers that can be called for some services.

People who need to report a child protective services concern should call (800) 552-7096, and to report an adult protective services concern, call (888) 832-3858.

The city Department of Parks and Recreation’s facilities will be open for their regular scheduled hours, but two facilities will have to use alternate numbers.

To call the Carver Recreation Center, dial (434) 981-0411, and to call Smith Aquatic and Fitness Center, dial (434) 989-9385.

For the Charlottesville Police Department, the emergency number should not be affected by the maintenance, but non-emergency callers should dial (434) 977-9041.

And the Utilities Department’s dispatch number will be (434) 293-9164 during the outage. People can use that number to report water main breaks, sewer backups, or gas leaks as well as utility service inquiries.

Normal phone services should be restored by 8 p.m. Saturday.
