ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Valentine’s Day is an excuse for wineries in Central Virginia to go big or go home, and they’re taking that message to heart this year.

At Trump Winery, they are bringing back "Love is Blind" from last year. This interesting experience invites you to challenge your palate in a blind tasting adventure.

At Pippin Hill, you will find the perfect excuse to indulge thanks to their weeklong chocolate and wine pairings, and even learn how to make some delicious chocolate.

At Hazy Mountain Vineyards, you can enjoy some cheesecake and chocolate dessert boards.

And in addition to a tea and macaron class, Lovingston Winery is bringing a new event this year just for the girls.

“It’s a pizza making class with Slice Versa, so the gals can come in and learn how to throw some dough, make their own dough, and it’s going to get fired right here on the property,” said Tessa Riley, the co-owner of Lovingston Winery.

After being named Wine Region of the Year, the Monticello AVA is ready to mix some wine and love for this Valentine’s Day.

Tickets are selling quickly for these events. Click here for a full list of all the things you can try out for the holiday of love.
