KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- The Cavaliers opened their second-ever NCAA Tournament with a 7-0 shutout win against Miami (OH) Friday to advance to the winner's bracket on Saturday.

Macee Eaton and Jade Hylton each led the Virginia offense with a pair of 2-run home runs and Eden Bigham pitched a complete game while striking out 10 batters for the fourth time this season.

It was also the first time this season that Miami (OH), who lead the nation in home runs and runs scored, were shutout this season.

The Cavaliers will take on region host, No. 3 Tennessee, on Saturday at 1 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to the regional final on Sunday while the loser will play in an elimination game on Saturday at 6 p.m.
