CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The University of Virginia will be holding Final Exercises this upcoming weekend.

The Valedictory Exercises will kick everything off on Friday with musician Pharrell Williams, a Virginia Beach native, being the keynote speaker.

On Saturday, graduation ceremonies will be held for students in the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and then all other schools and the Data Science Institute will hold ceremonies on Sunday.

Saturday's speaker is Dr. Bryant Cameron Webb, an assistant professor of medicine and public health and an alumnus of the UVA College of Arts and Sciences.

And on Sunday, retiring School of Nursing Dean Dorrie K. Fontaine will be the featured speaker.

UVA will bestow 7,090 degrees total this year, including 4,211 baccalaureate degrees and 2,448 graduate degrees.

Everything will begin on the Lawn, beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, unless there is severe weather. Should the weather be a factor, ceremonies will be held at the John Paul Jones Arena.
