Palmyra man arrested on drug, endangerment charges

FLUVANNA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A Fluvanna County man has been arrested on drug and child endangerment charges.

An investigation by the Jefferson Area Drug Enforcement Task Force and the Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office, 37-year-old Kenneth Wayne Farish of Palmyra was arrested Wednesday.

He is facing one felony count of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I or II drug, specifically cocaine, one felony count of possession with intent to distribute more than ten grams but less than 100 grams of methamphetamine, one felony count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana for a fourth offense, and three felony counts of child endangerment.

A search warrant executed on Farish's home on Stage Coach Hills Road resulted in officials seizing his vehicle, about 42 grams of methamphetamine worth $4,200, 168 grams of marijuana worth $3,360, and about two grams of powder cocaine worth $2oo.Farish is being held at the Central Virginia Regional Jail and additional charges are pending.

The investigation is ongoing.
