LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The U.S. Geological Survey said two minor earthquakes rattled Louisa County on Friday.
A 2.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded just before 11:30 a.m. Friday centered about three miles ENE of Goochland, about eight miles below the surface.
Twenty minutes later, a 2.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded about six miles ENE of Goochland, about five miles below the surface.
There have been no reports of damage so far.
Louisa County was the epicenter of the 5.8 magnitude earthquake near Mineral, which severely damaged the former Louisa County High School.
