'Hoos fall to top-ranked Tar Heels

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Top-ranked North Carolina won the doubles point and four of six singles matches in straight sets to beat Virginia 5-2 Friday afternoon.

Amber O'Dell and Sofia Munera picked up the only two singles wins for the Wahoos (10-4, 4-3 ACC)) against North Carolina (18-1, 6-0) on courts four and six respectively.

The loss was the second straight for Virginia, after falling at Wake Forest on Sunday. The Cavaliers are off until stepping out of conference for a trip to Michigan Wednesday.
