CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Maggie Jackson and Sammy Mueller were named to the All-ACC women's lacrosse first team Tuesday afternoon. Avery Shoemaker gave the Wahoos three All-ACC members, taking home second-team honors.
Its the second first-team honor for both Jackson and Mueller. Jackson was a first-team selection in 2017. It is the second straight first-team selection for Mueller, who was also the 2017 ACC freshman of the year.
Jackson leads Virginia with 64 points on 30 goals and 34 assists, a career-high for the senior. Mueller is tied for second on the team with 61 points, scoring 40 goals with 21 assists.
Shoemaker leads the Wahoos with 46 goals and is tied with Mueller with 61 points on the season.
The Cavaliers face Syracuse on Wednesday in the ACC quarterfinals.
