Richardson leads Tom Sox past Braves

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Cayman Richardson hit a two-run home run to cap a seven run fourth inning as the Tom Sox cruised past Staunton 11-3 Monday night.

Richardson went 3-4 with three RBI, a double and his home run. Ramon Garza also drove in three runs for the Tom Sox, finishing 3-5 at the plate.

In the seven run fourth, the Tom Sox sent 11 batters to the plate, collecting seven of the team's 13 hits in the inning.

Michael Zubovich allowed two runs on three hits over four innings on the mound. Two relievers combined to allow on run on two hits over the final five innings.

Louisa County alum Tristan Snyder started on the mound for the Braves and was charged with five runs on seven hits over 3.1 innings. Snyder struck out the side in order in the second inning, finishing with four strikeouts on the night.
