CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 Sports) -- The Tom Sox returned home and got back in the win column with a 9-4 victory over the Front Royal Cardinals.

Thomas Fransisco brought his hit streak to 22 games with a three-run RBI double in the bottom of the 2nd inning.

Trey McDyre also had a big night at the plate -- he began the scoring in the 1st inning with an RBI single, and later in the 5th inning with a solo home run shot.

The Cardinals put up a couple of runs in the top of the 9th inning, but ultimately fell short.

Tomorrow night the Tom Sox host the Strasburg Express for the regular season home finale. They wrap up their regular season slate on Thursday on the road.
