FLUVANNA COUNTY, VA (NEWSPLEX) -- The Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors is sponsoring a community meeting on the planned dewatering of the coal ash ponds at the Bremo Power Station.
Representatives from Dominion Virginia Power, the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, the Southern Environmental Law Center and the James River Association will all give brief presentations on the project.
Each presentation will also cover the organization's position and concerns about the project.
Afterwards, there will be a question, answer and discussion period for area residents.
The meeting will take place Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Fluvanna Circuit Courtroom..
