CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- More than 200 people in Charlottesville are out of work Tuesday.

According to the Reno Gazette Journal, Custom Ink announced Tuesday that it is closing production facilities in Reno and Charlottesville, Virginia.

In part, this is due to rising costs and tight talent markets.

The closures will affect 132 production employees in Nevada and 206 in Charlottesville.

Another 410 workers at both locations will be retained in non-production roles.

Custom Ink told the newspaper that it will be consolidating in-house production in its Dallas, Texas facility.

It says some of the impacted employees will be moved into open positions in Texas, but most will be let go and provided with separation packages.
