CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Saturday night concertgoers were stuck in hours of traffic headed to a Reba McEntire concert at John Paul Jones Arena.

On Emmett Street near Barracks Road, traffic was stuck at a standstill for hours.

One person said they waited in line for nearly three hours just to reach the parking area, resulting in being two hours late for the concert.

At this time, JPJ has not said why the traffic was so heavy.

There were also games involving the University of Virginia lacrosse and softball teams on Saturday.
