CROZET, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Around 3 a.m. Sunday, the Albemarle County Police Department responded to a carjacking.

Officers arrived at the 1200 block of Blue Ridge Avenue in Crozet and found a Lyft driver had picked up two teenagers in the 600 block of Elizabeth Avenue in Charlottesville and taken them to Crozet.

Once the car arrived in Crozet the teens showed a firearm and told the Lyft driver to get out of the car. The teens then drove off in it.

The suspects are both males around 16 or 17. One is white, while the other is Black. The teens were last seen headed toward Jarmans Gap Road. 

The victim was not hurt. 

The stolen vehicle, a four-door, white, 2015 Toyota Corolla with Virginia tags TXJ-9242, was later recovered in Waynesboro.
