RICHMOND, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Two area airports are getting some money for enhancements.

During its quarterly meeting last week, the Virginia Aviation Board allocated more than $6.5 million to General Aviation airports across the Commonwealth.

The money is being split between 31 projects at 21 public-use airports.

This includes funding for three projects the Louisa County Airport and the Orange County Airport.

The Louisa County Airport is getting nearly $10,900 for a Flex-Wing Mower and another almost  $35,800 for a 2022 John Deere 5115M Tractor.

The Orange County Airport is getting more than $3,500 for the construction of electrical vault fencing.

Other airports that are getting funding include the Blue Ridge Regional Airport, the Bridgewater Air Park, the Brookneal Campbell County Airport, the Chesapeake Regional Airport, the Dinwiddie County Airport, the Front Royal-Warren County Airport, the Hampton Roads Executive Airport, Ingalls Field, the Lake Country Regional Airport, the Leesburg Executive Airport, the Lunenburg County Airport, the New Kent County Airport, the New River Valley Airport, the Richmond Executive-Chesterfield County Airport, the Stafford Regional Airport, the Tappahannock-Essex County Airport, the Twin County Airport, the Virginia Tech-Montgomery Executive Airport, and the Wakefield Municipal Airport.
