DENVER, Co. (CBS19 SPORTS)-- Former teammates and 2019 NCAA champs Braxton Key and Jay Huff are joining the reigning NCAA champions in Denver. Both Huff and Key have signed two-way deals with the Denver Nuggets. 

7 footer Jay Huff started out the season with the Laker's G League team the South Bay Lakers before signing with the Wizards. In Washington Huff averaged 7.3 points and 3.0 rebounds while appearing in seven games. After just nine games with the Wizards Huff went back down to the G League where he continued to make a name for himself, leading the G league in blocks. Over the course of his time with the Capital City Go-Go Huff averaged 15 points, 7.8 rebounds and averaged 3.1 blocks per game.

Just a few days before Huff signed with the Nuggets Braxton Key signed a two-way deal as well. Key had previously played with the Pistons, the Philadelphia 76s and had spent significant in the G League where he averaged 13.7 points, 4.1 assistants and 1.3 blocks. Key shot 52.3% from the field and 40.2% from three-point range. 

Key and Huff also join Armaan Franklin who signed an exhibit 10 contract with the Nuggets this past June.
