CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- “There is so much need in the world, and we have the capacity to support them financially, emotionally and physically,” said Dr. Bonnie Straka, the founder of Signature Medical Spa.

February is the month of love, and Signature Medical Spa in Charlottesville is giving back to two organizations that put so much love into the community.

“We love to raise money for local and international charities. Two of our favorites are Loaves and Fishes and Service Dogs of Virginia,” said Straka.

These organizations are both nonprofits, and being able to have community support during this month will give these organizations the opportunity to expand their resources like training the service dogs, providing more free groceries, and making a bigger impact in the Charlottesville community.

“Signature Spa has been supporting us for 10 or 12 years now, and this ongoing partnership is good for my heart, and it certainly is good for our organization because it enables us to do what we do, and we are so grateful,” said Peggy Law, the executive director of Service Dogs of Virginia.

Their Radiesse fundraiser is a win-win. All you have to do is buy one Radiesse syringe and receive the second with a donation of $120.

“If they’ve never had injectable fillers, we do usually recommend a consultation where we can talk about what is an injectable filler and find out if someone is a good candidate,” said Straka.

After you receive your service, you can then choose which charity you would like to make your donation to.

This money will help both organizations in huge ways.

“So we don’t charge for our dogs, we provide all of the training and the raising of these dogs without any financial contribution from the client, so this allows us to do our work,” said Law.

The fundraiser is running now through February 23rd, and you can schedule an appointment on our website if you are interested in looking more youthful, and support great local causes.
