ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Ballet is preparing to host its 2nd annual Outdoor Series at Merrie Mill Farm and Vineyard.

This series started as a COVID-era project, wanting to bring together multiple arts organizations from throughout the city.

From there, the event has grown into a community partnership bringing together eight arts partners for an incredible weekend of music, theater, singing and dance.

You will see performances from Charlottesville Ballet, The Front Porch, the UVA Chamber Singers, Youth Orchestras of Central Virginia, among many others, showing how theater groups collaborating can lead to a one of a kind performance.

“This has been so fun to curate again this year. Having an experience where you’ve seen the symphony once, or maybe you’ve seen the ballet, to see all of these arts organizations perform together, you can kind of get a taste of the best of what we have to offer in this region. The food, the wine, the dancing and the music, it’ll be a great way for people to come out and enjoy themselves,” said Emily Hartka, the co-director of the Charlottesville Ballet.

The Outdoor Series is happening April 26th-28th. You can get a preview of Charlottesville Ballet’s "Snow White," a complimentary glass of wine with an adult purchased ticket, and bring your family, friends, and pets for a night of supporting local arts.
