GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- School buses in Greene County now have stop-arm cameras.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Greene County Public Schools announced the addition of the cameras on Tuesday.

In a post on Facebook, the sheriff’s office says drivers who disobey the flashing red lights will have a picture taken of their vehicle and will then receive a fine of $250.

Just last month, drivers began receiving tickets from speed cameras that have been installed in school zones in the county.
