CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS)-- Six different Cavaliers went yard in a 18-5 win over GW to top the program single season home run record. It marked the third straight year the Cavaliers have broken the record.

Virginia wasted no time tying their previous high of 83 home runs as Ethan Anderson's long ball went off the batters eye in the bottom of the first to take a 2-0 lead. Anthony Stephan hit UVA’s record-breaking homer in the third inning, a two-run shot for his second home run in as many games.

Every Cavalier in the lineup recorded a hit for their third 20 hit game of the season. Henry Godbout led the way with a 4-for-5 effort at the plate and scored three runs. Griff O’Ferrall and Stephan each put together three-hit efforts.

On the defensive front, Virginia emptied the bullpen, with 10 different Cavaliers taking the mound. Jay Woolfolk was credited with the win after retiring all five batters he faced, including one strikeout.

Virginia continues their home stand with a top 25 match up against NC State Friday at 7pm.
